Who We Are

It all started when…

We believe great projects come from great relationships.  We founded Studio Webster Dale after 20 years of friendship, when we both started families and wanted to foster a more personal approach to the delivery of architecture.  We truly enjoy working with you on your own homes and seeing the projects through from beginning to end.

Having worked in larger practices for many years, we bring with us a depth of knowledge and experience, but also a belief that architecture is a collaborative undertaking.  We work closely with our clients to tease out what are the true needs of the project - some might even call us nosey.  The result - not only beautifully designed, thoughtful spaces, but a meaningful impact on your daily life.

Our Approach

We believe successful homes balance architecture, interiors and everyday practicality with you at the centre. Good design can have a truly positive effect

Our work focuses on:

  • Bringing more natural light into existing homes

  • Improving flow and connection between spaces

  • Creating calm, functional interiors

  • Respecting the character of period properties while adapting them for contemporary living

By combining architecture and interior design from the outset, we create homes that feel coherent and carefully resolved at every scale.

Sustainable design is at the heart of our ethos.  We believe that we all have a responsibility to protect the world around us and through careful design and specification of materials we can help alleviate our impact and make a positive contribution to our built environment and most importantly create happy, healthy homes. We can guide you through the multitude of options so you can make educated, empowered decisions.

We love seeing the impact our work has on our clients and hear them talk about the joy that new spaces bring. It’s what makes us get up in the mornings.

Natalie Webster

Natalie studied at the Mackintosh School of Architecture obtaining a thesis Distinction, she was awarded the Kinross Scholarship to Florence, where she completed her Masters.

Natalie initially gained experience at the same practice as Stephanie focusing on residential and community projects. Moving on, she worked as a Senior Project Architect  overseeing the completion of a broad range of award winning schemes. I like to take advantage of working for myself and am often found playing yet someone else at tennis or walking the ever faithful Suki the cocker spaniel.

Stephanie Dale

Stephanie graduated with First Class Honours from Nottingham University before studying at the University of Westminster where she went on to gain a Distinction, and was nominated for the RIBA Silver Medal.

With over a decade of experience as an Associate at a multi award winning design led practice, working on large scale residential projects as well as masterplanning, commercial and mixed use schemes. Stephanie has been working as an independent architect since 2015 before co-founding Studio Webster Dale with Natalie in 2016.

If you can’t get hold of me,  I can probably be found on the tennis courts in Dulwich with Natalie.  I love the vibrancy of London, but also like to spend time in Cornwall, probably forcing my family to go on another hike.
